Prominent at awards time was the Hartford-based club Game Over, which took home 16 trophies. Game Over’s cars are easy to spot at any show due to the outrageous wheel sizes, with rims up to 26 inches in diameter being the norm! Also taking home a few trophies were Cheshire-based High Life Creationz, the Bridgeport-based Frontline Auto Club and the Windsor-based Dreamz II Reality Motorsports club. Best of show was awarded to the Pirate PT Cruiser of DIIR member Jim Ilardi. This car has to be seen to be believed! It carries a superb “Pirates Of The Caribbean” inspired airbrushed paint scheme and pirate galleon detailing throughout the car.
