Jonathan purchased his 1956 Tbird with soft and hard tops in 2001. After getting it up and running, he had it painted a ’56-only peacock blue. The original bill of sale, which Jonathan just happened to have a copy of, listed the original retail price as $3,182.22, including 10 gallons of fuel, which added $2.22 to the bill. The bill of sale makes for some interesting reading. The hard and soft tops cost $202.50, rear fender shields were a whopping $18.75 and the engine dress-up kit cost $15, those were the days!
Dick has owned and enjoyed his 1957 Thunderbird ragtop, a beauty done in Tbird bronze, for 12 years.
